Join us on Sunday, July 11, 2010, for a full day of outdoor activities at the 1st Annual “Sailapalooza”! Five South Florida charities will collaborate efforts, Uniting Foundations for Disability Awareness, to host a fun and educational day outdoors where both able-bodied and disabled guests will enjoy a full day of sailing, kayaking, boat rides, island exploration, art, music and a BBQ on the premises of Shake-a-leg Miami, a facility in Coconut Grove and participating organization of the event.
In conjunction with all the outdoor activities, vendor space will be available plus displays from participating charities and sponsors for attendees to view and learn from. All funds raised will be divided amongst the five 501c3 nonprofit organizations to support scientific research, promote education and recreational services for people with disabilities.
Up to 300 South Florida residents, local politicians and business owners are expected to attend this collaborative event designed to make a powerful impact on the community.

The Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research 4th Annual "Bowling for Breakthroughs" fundraiser is Thursday, April 22, 2010! Get ready for another great night of bowling and competing for prizes at Lucky Strike Lanes in Miami Beach (1691 Michigan Avenue). The event will run from 7 to 10 PM. Teams of 6 players each will compete for prizes in a bowling tournament, while non-bowlers will enjoy networking, food, drinks and playing pool.
